- Management in construction and engineering has never been more important!
- The global economic crisis, a slow down in demand for construction and infrastructure projects in many parts of the world, the challenges of climate change and general political turbulence, demands more effective project, and commercial management in planning, design, engineering, construction and asset management generally.
- MiCRA Postgraduate Conference 2012 is an opportunity to hear about current and recent research being undertaken by Masters and PhD students.
- The Conference is being partly organised by postgraduates themselves and is an excellent forum to provide postgraduates in construction, built environment and engineering management related programmes, experience in organizing and participating at academic conferences.
- All papers submitted will be reviewed by a distinguished and highly experienced editorial board.
- The papers will be published in the form of a downloadable online Conference Proceedings.
- All papers will be accompanied by a powerpoint presentation which will also be published online.
- The Conference will include a Postdoctoral Workshop which will consider "life after" the PhD!
